Our Story

It all started in January of 2013. We started by doing small arts and crafts around the house. Some painting here, some refinishing there, some building over there, and so on. We started changing the way our homes looked on the inside and out. And we thought, "Maybe other people would like the things we were making!" So here we are, selling our own handcrafted items!

Flamingo-Nations is a family operated business ran by a mother/daughter team. It includes me, Chelsea, and my mother, Twila. We have always been very artsy, craftsy. We love to take the old and make it new again. We don't think everyone has to be ordinary and follow after the others. We stepped out of the box and took our own paths to make beautiful, unique creations. And now we have our own business full of wonderful, custom pieces that you can't find anywhere else!

Flamingo-Nations doesn't sell just arts and crafts. We sell a large variety of items. Our business has jewelry, antiques, home decor, yard art, furniture, collectibles, and so on. So whether you want someting bold, something new, something vintage, or something small, chances are we will have just what you are looking for! Flamingo-Nations also sells on consignment. Our store inventory is always changing so make it a habit to visit often!

We are located in Carthage, Texas. Our address is 1659 State Highway 149. We are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10am-6pm.
